Yo.

Yoyoyoyoyoyo to you all, and I hope your evenings are shaping up to be robust and distinguished. May particular events unfold that you will later recall.

ANYWHO, as discussed in the most recent Extree! Extree!, we have moved into the realm of video in a bigger way recently, and also taken several new podcasts onboard, so some content modules will need to shift to make room for others.

To that end, we have decided to renew our media promise to you, in the following terms.

THE THREE THINGS A WEEK DOCTRINE

This outfit (it's called Big Potatoes or something, I forget) will release three content modules a week, every week, and occasional bonus episodes on top of that at our discretion. That means 12 pieces of content a month for the price of $5, which we think is pretty keen. We sincerely hope you do too.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS?

The things are whatever we want them to be, but so far, every show we have launched is slated to continue running. If we ever discontinue a show, we will let you know. If there's no post saying it has been canceled, we just preempted it that week for something else.

All this really means is that, as we add new shows and miniseries, our podcasting schedule will adjust to fit. So if you've gotten used to a particular release schedule, FORGET IT! Just stay tuned and see what popped up that day. It will eventually be the thing you were hoping for, but we in turn hope this might encourage some of you to explore a show you might not have, otherwise.

It's called Variable-Ratio Positively Reinforced Operant Behavioral Conditioning, and the Small Beans lab rats we beta tested on just love it. The survivors, anyway. Good luck out there!

CURRENT SHOW ROSTER

Mainly to celebrate how far we've come, here is a list of all the great shows you've made possible, and might be interested in getting acquainted with! At least two new ones launching next month. BEANS GROW THAT'S WHAT THEY DO.

LifeHax: Our zero-budget video series, not to be confused with our high-budget video series, which launches in a couple days.

Rough Stuff: Bridgett Greenberg and Sarah Griffith invite some of their favorite people to relive their most embarrassing adolescent moments.

Pop Culture Petri Dish: Cristian Ramirez and Abe Epperson hit you with a concentrated double-dose of science news and sci-fi pop culture.

Extree! Extree!: Michael and his pal Jonny Papes bring you a hilarious way to stay abreast of the news, both Small Beans and otherwise.

Tales from the Pit: Michael and guests explore topics related to depression, grief, and trauma with a humorous and loving bent.

1Upsmanship: Adam Ganser and Michael Swaim (plus guests!) take video games seriously as art, then often question why they did that.

Frame Rate: Abe Epperson and Michael Swaim (plus guests!) take movies seriously as art, which is more defensible.

Excellent use of the phrase “Variable-Ratio Positively Reinforced Operant Behavioral Conditioning”. I can’t wait to be conditioned just like the small beans lab rats!

So any given day could be an Extree! Extree!, another podcast, or a video of high or low budget? We have become Chaos Beans! Or at least, like, a Three Bean Salad.
