Someone asked me about cool Anatomy books ans I thank it could interest you ^^.
My favourites are these one :
-"Anatomy book for sculptor" (exist in French/English) :
big and complete book, very understandable, a very cool reference ^^ but a bit expansive.
-"Morpho" (in french/ don't know if it exist in english) : this little book is about simplified anatomy, it help to understand shapes / volumes . the book is little so you can take it easily everywhere ^^
I have only "forme synthetiques" (synthetic forms) , but this book editor have other books that seem's interesting :

Some advices :
About training in anatomy , I did lost of anatomy sessions with books / picture from reel (nudes but not only). It can be also interesting to copy some other artsits styles with great anatomy skill to understand how they simplify it :
My references were :
-Alessandro barbucci (skydoll) (great female anatomy skill)
-Capcom books ( very exagerated and dynamic anatomy with lot of muscles ^^ cool for fighting game style anatomy.
Don't consider me as an anatomy reference, I still do some mistakes and still have to learn more about it ;)
When you learn anatomy, progress is often slow but you have to persevere, be regular in learning. consider the first half hour as a warm-up and try to do sessions of at least 1 hour.
I think it will be helpfull to set a goal, for example 1 hour of anatomy / day for 1 month or more.
don't hesitate to keep anatomy book near you and to have a look in it when you don't know how to draw something.
and the last advice. Don't wait for anatomy knowledge before starting to draw. Lot of great character artists don't know well anatomy, you can also have a great style whithout anatomy knowledge.
Sometimes ,the problem of knowledge is that you can have a less spontaneous style because you are more afraid to make mistakes and to draw strange but cool shapes.
here's also some cool video (18+) for pose drawing sessions : https://vimeo.com/croquiscafe
Hope that it will help you and don't hesitate to ask questions here ;)
PS: I will soon post some
