Hi Chris, when you made your adaptor plate for the Myford vertical slide and the platform for the motor, what material did you use? Also, when you made sure the spindle was square, how did you do that? What is the dial gauge on?

Hey Toby, I made the adaptor plates from aluminium. Its nice and easy to work with and readily available. For indicating the spindle, I mount the magnetic indicator base on the side of the lathe bed.
