How do patrons get access to the drawings for this project? Thanks.

I made this tool from the plans published by Bill Smith - you can get the plans from his many clock construction books here: http://www.wrsmithclocks.com/books.htm The tool dimensions are repeated in many of his books, eg pg 106 of "Clock Repair for Beginners and Advanced Craftsmen" Cheers, Chris.

Thanks Chris, I remembered I have Smith's book with the included drawings. One thing I might add is that I don't knurl any longer. I use a ball nosed end mill and dividing head to indent my knobs. Works just as well and I think it looks nicer. Simple math to get equal spacing, if that's what you want, allows you to know exact sizes without waste. Best, Rob
