I'm incredibly excited to say that Conquering Northern China is only a day or two away from going live! 

Right now I'm in Hong Kong with both Rik and Mark, (The Cameramen, directors and editors of the series). 

C-milk had an important hair appointment so couldn't make it today.

Episode 1 and 3 have been mastered and uploaded, some final colour correction and subtitles are being added to episode 2 and 4 and then they'll be uploaded and then we'll be ready to go live! 

The reason we're in Hong Kong is that because the series was shot in very high bitrate 4k, the file sizes are massive! (think 250gb per episode) and the flaky slow over VPN internet in mainland China simply cannot cope with that amount of data! We've enlisted the help of my friend Brown-Eye who has pretty much the fastest internet available in Hong Kong and well, this side of Asia to upload the videos in a timely manner.

I'll be updating you all as soon as it's available!

I got to watch episode 1 last night for the first time and it's fantastic! I can guarantee that you're all going to enjoy it!
