Elementals (Patreon)
Content
Note: Elementals gain spellpower via their Main Stats, not their Wisdom, Intellect or Spellpower Stat. This is especially important to keep in mind because John’s elementals are so closely tied into his system that they do not have a Spellpower Stat. Mana and Mana Regeneration still scales with Intellect and Wisdom though.
Gnome
![](https://i.imgur.com/2EemwOn.png)
Main Stats: Strength and Endurance
Gnome is specialized in controlling earth, soil, rock, and, to a more limited degree, plants. Gains various bonuses depending on the surrounding biome (minor) and the season (medium).
Spring – 10% Agility, Charisma and Libido, heavily increased control over plants and sand.
Summer – 20% Strength, minorly increased control over plants and lava.
Autumn – 10% Endurance and Strength, decreased earth creation cost.
Winter – 20% Endurance, increased control over mud and water.
Unleash: Several butterflies surround Gnome at all times, their bodies made from thin twigs and their wings made from leaves (the colour depends on the season). Gnome can turn each of these butterflies into a tree of stone. The size of the tree depends on the amount of contact with dirt the roots have upon forming. However, the roots always expand with the same amount of energy, making them great at bursting through fortifications. The leaves of the stone can be transformed into dirt.
Item Form: a two-handed warhammer with a grip made from some kind of mixture between stone and wood. The head is a slab of grey stone, with rims decorated by leaves. The end of the shaft is a thorn made by leaves twisting into a point. It is quite heavy.
Salamander
![](https://i.imgur.com/NfvzV5U.png)
Main Stats: Agility and Intellect
Salamander specializes in controlling fire, flames, conjuring meteorites and creating earthquakes. Shortly put, she is an AoE damage dealer of apocalyptic proportions.
Unleash: Salamander’s next attack is supercharged and deals a whole lot more damage. Two minute cooldown.
Item Form: A black gauntlet made from overlapping plates and ending in claws. Covered in jagged, red lines that heat up as fire magic is channelled through them.
Undine
![](https://i.imgur.com/fCfv3W3.png)
Main Stats: Endurance and Wisdom
Undine is the healer of the group, able to use her slime to mend wounds at close range. When allies are further away, she can use her nature as an abysstide elemental to create clones of herself from nearby shadows. The amount of energy and the range of these clones is limited, so it’s a generally less effective method than to get healing from her directly. She can create a liquid shadow material that is somewhat similar to rubber and quite effective at protecting her or as a temporary adhesive. While she (usually) lacks offensive tools, her high Endurance and slime girl body means that she is difficult to get rid of, even if the enemy focuses on her.
Unleash: After having healed a considerable amount, Undine may switch into an aggressive mode. She can no longer heal, but gains quite respectable offensive capabilities. The time of this mode is limited and can be ended early, if Undine has the self-control to do so.
Item Form: A tight glove of a latex-like material, covered in the swirly pattern of Undine’s Lorylim scars.
Sylph
![](https://i.imgur.com/T07pkhz.png)
Main Stats: Agility and (to a much lesser degree) Strength
Sylph is the group’s single target specialist. Attacking with slicing gusts of winds and supernatural thunderbolts, she delivers precise and powerful blows from the air, while remaining in steady, high-speed motion. She can infuse herself with lightning to increase her speed even further. The drawback of her extremely offensive nature is low endurance and limited mana. Sylph is a glass cannon who requires support to function optimally.
Unleash: Sylph, if angered immensely, enters a state of extreme focus, in which her Main Stats are raised and she passively restricts air movement. Breathing becomes difficult (or outright impossible) and sound ceases.
Item Form: An extremely elegant rapier that looks like it’s straight out of a fantasy novel. The colour scheme is green and white.
Siena
![](https://i.imgur.com/B2iFb22.png)
Main Stats: Agility and Wisdom
Siena specializes in covert tactics, sneaking behind enemy lines and assassinating high priority targets. She is aided in this both by her ability to turn invisible and the supernatural skill she has to cling to surfaces. Her fingers and the tip of her tail can become covered in a sharp layer of crystal, converting them into natural weapons. Although she prefers to use her own limbs as weapons, Siena is able to manipulate nearby darkness into blades and tendrils. She can further drop into shadows, provided they are large enough for her to enter, and even enter people’s dreams. Whether she twists them into nightmares or pleasant dreams is up to her digression.
The dream ability is almost always unused. Not a lot of targets to use it on.
Unleash: Siena can Unleash at any time, boosting her speed and other Stats by a moderate amount.
Item Form: Siena doesn’t have an Item Form…
(It’s shoes)
Stirwin
![](https://i.imgur.com/ZykDP4H.png)
Main Stats: Strength and Agility
Stirwin takes the role of an oft-unused win condition. The more mana John spends, the higher a Stage Stirwin can Unleash at. Currently, John has issues providing the necessary mana to make this worthwhile in the duration of a regular engagement. In select situations, it comes in clutch though.
Stirwin also fulfils the incredibly important role of being John’s pride regulator.
Unleash: Stirwin Unleashes on one of several stages, depending on the amount of mana he has absorbed recently through John’s casting. The higher the stage, the more powerful he gets. While Stirwin reaches his original power as the Celestial Devourer at around 100 million mana, he can theoretically grow infinitely.
Item Form: An egg-shaped, golden accessory on a simple chain. The egg can be pulled off easily and disappears once Stirwin is Unleashed.
