30:32 I haven't seen any international stats about it but I feel like Boys Planet was internationally the most popular k-pop survival show yet, since it was made more global than any previous seasons. It was also a lot more highly rated in SK than Girls Planet 999 but overall it did not reach even nearly to the level that the Produce series did. I don't know know/remember how much you know about the Produce series, but they were basically the reason why survival shows became such a popular thing in k-pop. There was 4 seasons in total, first season formed I.O.I, second WANNA ONE, third IZ*ONE and fourth X1. The last group (X1) faced a huge vote rigging scandal and had to disband only after releasing their debut album which made many Koreans (and international people too) boycott Mnet and they had to end the Produce series. Then after a few years they switched to the "Planet series" but there's still many Koreans who don't want to support Mnet and that's why the view ratings for both Girls Planet and Boys Planet are much lower than it used to be. But I'm so happy that Boys Planet clearly grabbed many people's attention and the survival shows are becoming more popular again! 37:38 Girls Planet 999 had a bit different structure than Boys Planet has so that's why it's named differently. There was 99 contestants and the girls were in 3 different groups with 33 trainees each; Korean trainees, Japanese trainees and Chinese trainees. So in Girls Planet there was not a Global team like in Boys Planet, the foreign participants were only from Japan and China. So 99 contestants + 9 members aiming for debut + 3 different groups was made into 999. At least that's what I think LOL. 1:08:09 All of the light stick things were given to the fans in the finals, I don't know if someone brought a Kep1er light stick, but all of those seen are just for the final. Blue ones representing the Korean group and pink ones the Global group :) 1:13:11 - 100 000 won is around 70 dollars :) 1:53:20 I'm pretty sure you could only vote in the app to prevent people from making multiple accounts to vote. After the voting countdown ended and if you refreshed the app, yes it just says that the voting is unavailable at the moment so you couldn't vote anymore. I must say that Jelly Pop is probably my favorite song to ever come out from a survival show. Almost half a year later I still listen to it religiously.

Thank you Maisie! Sometime next week; I'll be busy with some concerts in the coming days (Eric Nam and Enhypen!) 🤗

I do remember the voting scandal, yes. What year was that? I wasn't into kpop yet (I don't think...) but I remember reading about it on Twitter. That’s a shame the group had to breakup! I understand why, but it sucks for the members if they had no idea and were just going along with the show like everyone else that participated 😩 Wonder what they’re doing now....I appreciate all the info, thank you!! Any other survival shows you've liked? I got a ton I want to check out next 🤗

Oh, did you know that Junhyeon will debut with the other Red Start boys that were on Boys Planet? They already released a pre-debut album. The group is TIOT, and all the members are SO good. It's such a shame that all of their talents got overlooked on the show. Even Junhyeon, everyone only thinks of him as a funny character, but his vocals are amazing. I'm glad he and the other boys are getting a chance now, though.
