Hey everyone! Here is the completed video for my instrumental metal cover of Super Smash Bros. "Lifelight" theme! This video has a pretty cool story behind it. and also explains why it came out like so close after my last cover instead of the usual longer spacing between videos haha.

This arrangement started when I got a message from an awesome YouTube musician out in France named Mioune who was a fan of my music and wanted to propose that we do a thing with Lifelight! She does her vocal covers in French and her fans love what she does. Must be cool for French speakers to have their favorite themes sung in French!

So she asked if I would do a backing track to her vocals and her friend Beastboy and I was of course down! their version of this arrangement is right here:

However, I really wanted to also do a guitar instrumental version of this theme so I asked and she was totally cool with that as well. so here we are with multiple versions of this arrangement and we both put them out today to share! I already got some new fans from France thanks to her which is awesome and I'm hoping some of my fans go check her out! She's doing an English version as well which I will keep you all posted when the English version is out!

The arrangement was so much fun to put together! I basically treated my guitar as the singer and used my rhythm guitars to lay down the foundation and I found out that the theme's chord progression is lowkey CRAZY intricate. It was so fun but also mega challenging to figure out some of those chord progressions (like during the verse).

Overall I had so much fun putting this together and I hope you all enjoyed all of the versions of this theme.

It's time to take on a SUPER highly-requested piece of VGM that just recently came out and is absolutely amazing, of course i'm talking about the LIFELIGHT theme from Smash Ultimate! The original theme features some incredible vocals and I really dig the song as it is. But I couldn't resist trying to lay down some of those amazing melodies on my guitar and adding some super crushing metal riffs to it to make it an epic metal arrangement! It was surprisingly more challenging than I expected, not due to the melodies being hard to play or learn, but mainly because the chord progression of this theme is SO intricate and it's something you don't notice immediately due to how well-composed it is. The chord progressions work TO the song and don't overly stand out. However, when you're taking apart this theme and looking at the progressions super closely, I realized that it was some SUPER intricate musicality here and it really took my ear-training to a new level with figuring out some of these chords. It was a ton of fun throughout despite it being challenging of course!
