Hi Imon, if you ever rewatch this series, you may want to watch on Starz rather than Netflix. When this season originally aired, it wasn’t on Netflix yet and after each episode on Starz, the show runners spend time talking about the episode and why they made certain decisions. It’s pretty interesting. When episode 9 aired, it was killing me just to wait one week to see what was going to happen. Luckily, my Mom has the books and I got the book and found where we were in the story and read the rest of the book. It was such a different experience knowing what was going to happen for episodes 10-13 and seeing how they changed some things and left other things out due to the length of the episodes Imagine having to wait 2 years for the next season. Because of Covid there were 2 years between S5 and S6. We are currently waiting for the second half of season 7 sometime in 2024 and we don’t know when season 8 will come out due to the writers strike

At the start we see Roger taking a shower, for a moment I thought he went back through the stones, but he didn't, he chose to stay, he does love Bree. I would stay to find the woman I love, no matter the cost. I like the scene when Bree asks Phaedre if she can draw her, she asks why, Bree tells her she's beautiful. I wonder if anyone has ever told her that before. I'm glad Bree got to meet John Grey, he's such a good man, I'm glad he agreed to marry her, not to be with her, but to protect her, to keep her and her baby safe. That's both of Jamie's kids he chose to protect. He tells Bree a little about William, that he's not his real father, that he loves him more that life itself and that Roger will love her baby too. I love what he said to her, "The thing is, we're all here in this new world not because it's new. These lands are as old as any. It's only new because there is hope. And hope is at the very heart of love." I like the scene at the end with Jamie and Claire, she tells him she's sorry, that she was upset, not with him but everybody, the world, Stephen Bonnet. She must feel responsible for what happened to Bree, she must think to herself that if she never went back through the stones then Bree would never have been there. She tells Jamie she's sorry for not telling him about Stephen Bonnet when she knew, that she never thought she would keep a secret like that from him. She said "When I made you that promise, there was no one else in my life who would come before you... But I don't know if I can keep that promise any more." I've never known one woman to carry so much pain, they both do. Jamie thinks he can't be a father to Bree, that she doesn't need him, he regrets how he spoke to her, the things he said. He then talks about Frank, he said "Bree thinks he's a better man. I thought... I thought perhaps you were beginning to feel the same way, sassenach." I love how Claire comforts him, they're beautiful together. I wish we could all have just a small amount of the love they have for each other. At the end of the video you spoke about being on the spectrum a little and about the scenes with Bree and the dinner party. I know what you're talking about, that feeling. There's times when I'm watching TV and the characters can just be sitting and talking, it's a peaceful intimate setting and then someone will suggest that they all go out. I then get that feeling of dread, I just want them to stay in that peaceful place. I always have so much fun watching these with you, just listening to you talk, seeing you smile and hearing you laugh, it's beautiful. You're beautiful Imon, always. <3
