I don't have this movie on Netflix or Prime. I will try to buy a copy of it tomorrow when i'm out, i should be able to find it, and if i do i will watch it with you later that night. I've never seen this before, just one of those movies i knew about but never bothered to watch, it should be fun. I hope all is well Imon, i wish you the best, always. <3

It's free on youtube with ads, at least if you're in the US. A bit annoying since the adds are every 7 minutes.

This is one of my favorite movies, like top 10. The friendship between Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany's characters are great, they argue, they hang out together, they support each other, and they confide in each other. Also, about the question of the kids on the ship. Some of the boys were probably the sons of the upperclass and lords. The lords would send their sons to the navy at a young age to gain experience, like child interns in a way. They were essentially officers in training, in the movie the boys go by the rank of "Midshipman" I think. So in a way they're like cadets, and as they gain experience and get older they will have the knowledge and experience to be officers in the navy or even a captain. As for suggestions I'd recommend "Crimson Tide". It's got a young Denzel Washington on a submarine, and a young Viggo Mortensen too. You've got the navy reactions going, and the Denzel reactions too, so Crimson Tide would fit right in. If you like characters facing moral and ethical dilemmas then it's a great movie to watch.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out and for letting me know about this movie on youtube, i couldn't get a copy but you're right about the ads, i don't know how anyone could watch movies like that. I got a dvd of it today, now just setting up my dvd player for the first time in years, it's a bit dusty but a little clean and i should be set for tonight. I think the last Russell Crowe movie i watched was with him and Christian Bale, 3:10 To Yuma, i liked that.

This was a very special movie so I can see it being one of your favorites! I really enjoyed it as well. My fear did get the better of me in the last half of the movie. But it was great! I always appreciate the helpful comments with information And I love both Denzel and Viggo so that seems like a perfect idea!

I will be watching this in a few hours, i wasn't sure if the comment i left on Outlander 2X5 was a bit much, i don't know, maybe i heard you wrong in the video, i thought the comment might get me banned from your patreon, i'm glad it didn't. I really do care for you Imon, and i know how strange that must sound to you because we're strangers, i don't really know what else to say, i just hope today has been a good day for you and i wish you the best Imon, always. <3

Well you were right i did enjoy this movie, the rebuilding of the ship was great to watch, after the first battle it looked like a ghost ship, it's incredible how they were able to repair it right there on the open sea. I liked the scenes with Paul Bettany when he was teaching the kid, passing on his knowledge to the next generation, i like that. If your a fan of Paul Battany you should watch the series MANHUNT: UNABOMBER. It's only eight episodes. He plays Ted Kaczynski, i know Ted killed people, but this series and Paul Bettany's performance does a great job at humanizing the character. I really felt for him, i know that must sound strange, but before all the bad he was a good person. Not everyone is bad, it's just something from their past, that trauma that changes them, and for some that pain is to much for them to let go, and sadly some just never find their way back to that good person they once were. You don't have to react to this series, but if you do i will watch it with you. As always Imon i wish you the best, stay safe and i will see you in the next one. <3

You said in the video that you were looking for similar movies, this one isn't set on a ship, it takes place in 19th century Japan, it's called The Last Samurai. It stars Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe. It's beautifully shot, it's a great story of loyalty, friendship, and tradition, it's one of my favorites, I think you might like it. <3
