The origin story of the pregnant woman and her partner can be seen all the way back in a S1 episode. Look behind Jeff on the right: https://youtu.be/oLPJgdgCqKY?t=7 The ironic part is Abed's miscommunicated announcement is why they didn't use protection so him helping them in this episode is probably him making it up to them lol Community has a lot of subtle things they plan over time, there's a lot more details I can't wait to mention when they finally pay off

This whole season is great, but the first half is pretty much banger after banger. Really excited for 4 and 6. Lmao, I was about to be upset about Abi backing down on cults. But Imon was like: Nah, we're doin this. It's all cults. I think it's important to keep in mind that a lot of how men behave towards women is built in by society and how we reinforce toxic masculinity. I recently had to look at this from the opposite perspective at work recently. I had the very uncommon scenario of a young girl that was a sexual harasser. Sending unsolicited nudes/stalking the boys her age from work. But my first thought was: This is super fucked up, this poor emotionally abused child. I really don't think about that stuff with empathy when I see men doing it.

Good job noticing the Abed side story. Most don't.

As has been established, Shirley is a shit stirrer.

Hunter2

so this ep takes place 9 months after the STD fair where Abed said "if you're going to have sex don't use condoms"

Kelly Parks

You're not "trained". It's instinct. People always forget that we're as much a part of the animal kingdom as any other animal and instincts apply to us too. You have the right to ask men to be more polite about it but big boobs trigger sexual thoughts in us in a way beyond our control. Instinct.

1. Sexuality is way more socially enforced than you seem to realize 2. That's an appeal to nature

I like Annie but she is a manipulator so she was intentionally using her body and femininity.

I can really relate to realizing how people go to church to feel like a part of a community and share a belief which can be very good for some people but it was actually kind of driving me crazy the older I got. Like this stuff doesn’t make any sense!

Yep, I feel like if done well religion can be very beneficial for society by giving a lot of people motivation for life and to be kind and of course that sense of community. But also... it's just not real lol, so it's like am I gonna force myself to believe in something for its utilitarian benefit even though I know better

Teyon Alexander

So I've been quiet awhile but I wanted to thank you for the conversation after the show. You both have made such important points and it really is unfortunate that humanity feels such a need to sexualize everything.

I love when you guys go down the religion rabbit hole. I'm an agnostic person (like really just couldn't care less about it) who lives down in Knoxville, TN. Growing up every wednesday & sundays were spent at church. For 10 years I worked at said church in the sports department. Also was a youth leader for about 6 years for a group of guys from their 2nd grade until they were almost finished with 8th grade until I just left because I just stopped "believing" (and realized the hypocrisy in leading kids while not believing in what they did). My overall take away has been that maybe it might make people's live better but it's just not worth it to engage. As long as I can atleast slowly make people around me who do have the old school christian view more comfortable with the progression in how the world should treat the LBTGQ+ community then i'm doing my part. Plus finding a girlfriend who has a same world view as me has been helpful in that. Love you guys and can't wait for more.
