Big, bad announcement. (Patreon)

Hey, all.

This is a hard post to write. In fact, it seems a bit unreal.

I’ve been taking some time off from work this week and hoped to get lots of art done. But, I found that I was doing some soul-searching instead. After a lot of that, I am very sad to announce that, come February 1, I will be, for all intent and purposes, closing down this Patreon. 

ALL of the current artwork pending WILL be completed ($25 patron work and the Cookies comic) but, after that, I will be closing down all tiers save for the $1. I will be leaving this up to maintain a presence here as, my dear patrons, I appreciate the community you’ve brought even more than the dollars. I invite you all to hang out in the $1 room until the work is posted but, I will understand if you feel the need to leave.

There are a few reasons but, the main one is that my work has been not of my usual quality of late. This is not, thankfully, a physiological issue but, an emotional one. I’m feeling very separated from the work and therefore am not bringing the drive to create that you’ve come here for. 

A secondary reason, which informs the first, is the stress to deliver monthly added on to the feeling that I’m not providing the quality work you deserve. 

Don’t worry! I’ll still be doing artwork both TF and non-TF! And it will be posted here first (if there’s anyone here, natch) but, it won’t be regular and there won’t be any more polls or Monthly Drawings. I’ll still do streams and I’ll take requests from Patrons but, nothing with an onus on timely delivery.  

Will I start up again? Maybe. That’s all I can say about that. About having all of you as my Patrons for these years, I can’t say enough. Your participation and your comments have given me so much inspiration. It’s definitely not for lack of love for you all that caused this decision. You’re all awesome and I absolutely appreciate you.
