Writathon ends today. I'm uploading chapters now to finish, and then getting back to writing without having to worry about it. Since I spent a lot of yesterday working to get heat in one of my stores, I took today off to replace the lost writing day. So, what is next?

Tunnel Rat: Milo got a lot of wordage lately, so chapters will slow after I put up more stuff today and get back to five ahead of Royal Road. RR will be getting one chapter a week for 3 weeks while I catch up, but I'm also starting the re-write of the chapters for the "Knight of the Jackalope" crossover. That started as a joke based on some comments someone made. This time it will appear in both RR stories and become canon.

Looking ahead, we have some confrontations coming up and a lot of loose ends in the real world. After that, more things start happening in the game, and as you can imagine, some people want to go with him. There is an arc in the works for SC6 as well, and going deeper into the world to a lovely city called Bloth that we previewed a while back.

Butcher of Gadobhra: So much to get done. Legendary abilities and bits of loot, Tier 4 character sheets. The rise of the new fortress, which a few people don't want to happen, sausage based economic shenanigans, changes to Sedgewick and Gadobhra, dungeon delving by our group, and...chaos. Much chaos. And winter is coming.

The Scrapyard Dungeon: Nearly a books worth of material is mapped out and I think about it a lot, but only so many hours a week to write. It didn't make the writathon this time, but it's still on the list of things I want to write.

Tunnel Rat heads to Kindle soon, the cover is being drawn right now.
Butcher follows, I'm working on the revised manuscript with some new material at the start. Those will get posted here at some point.

I'm always excited to see where you take us in your stories, but I will ask that you don't overdo things. Your health is the most important, and burnout is a thing. We can wait. Maybe impatiently, but yeah. Thanks for sharing your hard work with us.

I like it, personally I think the Butcher cast needs some time to “adjust” as they call it in cultivation novels. It’s a period of quiet and consolidation where the protagonists become acquainted with their new power and status. Some slice of life as they come to grips with their new powers is welcome. Having some misadventures, essentially using a sledgehammer for a “technical tap” could be fun. Integrating a clan of brownies into Sedgewick, brewing and cooking, is something I would enjoy reading. Plus, there is the banker’s wedding to plan for.
