This elegant monocle has a finely crafted silver frame and a deep azure lens that seems to swirl with mystical energy.

While wearing the monocle, you have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks.

Hypnotic Gaze: Once per long rest, as an action, you can use the Hypnotic Monocle to attempt to hypnotize a creature that you can see within 20 feet of you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC of 15. On a failed save, the creature becomes Charmed by you. The charm effect ends if the creature takes any damage or if it succeeds on a Wisdom saving throw made at the end of each of its turns. A creature that succeeds on any of these saving throws, or is released from the charm due to taking damage, is immune to the Hypnotic Monocle's effect for the next 24 hours.

While a creature is charmed, you can use your action to issue a simple command to the creature. The creature will do its best to obey the command on its turn, provided the command is not obviously harmful to it. If you issue no commands, the creature will stand idle in a mesmerized state until the charm effect ends.
