Let the Semi-Finals begin! It’s been the deepest field in the history of tickle sports, and now just four girls remain in the hunt for the championship – but only two can qualify for the Grand Final and fight for the ultimate prize! So let’s kick things off with our first Semi-Final, where the #16 seed Alex is ready to tango with the #12 seed Wuya!

Qualifying from Quadrant #1, Alex was never expected to get this far, but defied expectations by taking down defending champion Katara, and now all memories of her past loss have quickly been forgotten. Marie Kanker, the Footsie Queen, was Alex’s latest victim, and now it seems that the slender spy has become a master of all the tickle skills necessary to fight for a place in the Grand Final. But this is one battle where Alex might have met her match, as she’s facing an opponent who has more than a few tickle tricks up her sleeve. Once again, Alex finds herself as the underdog, and she’ll need to keep her composure if she wants to make it past such a dangerous foe. This will be the fight of her life.

Wuya qualified from Quadrant #4, and after taking down Azula and Harley Quinn in back-to-back victories, the wily witch is feeling pretty smug about her chances here. So far, every opponent has fallen prey to her devious tickle skills, and while Wuya is aware of Alex’s victory over Katara, she feels that the ex-champ let her arrogance get the better of her in that match, and Wuya has resolved not to make the same mistake here. Alex needs to be dealt with, and if that means exerting all of her powers in order to defeat her, then so be it. Wuya needs to keep her bare feet firmly planted on the ground, and tread lightly around Alex so she can achieve her goal of becoming the new champion and ruling the tickle universe!
