We’ve seen a few clashes of good against evil in this tournament over time, but this might be the biggest one yet, as we decide who qualifies from the third quadrant of the bracket, where the #14 seed Medusa is ready for a showdown with the #6 seed Starfire!

Medusa has been ruthless in her two victories so far, and remains undefeated with dominant wins over Sedusa and Blackfire. Both those girls were pretty mean themselves, but this is the first time that Medusa is facing a hero, and Starfire is one of the best in the business. Will Medusa underestimate her, or will she punish Starfire with another merciless tickle punishment and stomp her out of the tournament? The path to victory is certainly there, but Medusa had better make sure her ego isn’t too big for her own good in this one.

As for Starfire, this is a very important match for the Tamaranian cutie, as this is the stage where she lost to her friend Raven last season. Now a much more brutal opponent stands in the way between her and a place in the Final Four, and while Starfire usually doesn’t care whether she wins or loses, she can’t STAND bullies, and has resolved to stand up to Medusa and put an end to her reign of ticklish terror! To Starfire, Medusa is just as bad as her evil twin Blackfire. But is she strong enough? Is she too sensitive to survive against this Snaky Seductress?
