Development Update #79 (Patreon)

The second test build of Episode 11 was just sent out to my testers and I'm pretty confident I'll be able to release the game this week.
I'm also finished with the script of Episode 12, which is being proofread right now as well. I haven't created a single render yet for Episode 12, as I've been caught up in the release frenzy of v0.11.
The question about how far along the story of Tales From The Unending Void currently is has been cropping up regularly. I've always thought of the story as consisting of three acts and with the release of v0.11 we'll be at 90% of the first act. The remaining two acts might be a little shorter in length, or they might be longer, I'm not sure yet.
Episode 12 will be split in two parts and serve as an ending of the first act (or season). Next season will of course feature the same crew and continue the storyline picked up from Episode 12. Each season will have its own application bundle (in order to keep the file sizes out of the 'insane' tier) and saves will carry over from one season to the next.
Another frequent question has been whether the game will get a Steam release. I can confirm that it's very much the plan to release the game on Steam, if Valve approves.
After the release of the last part of Episode 12, I'll start the process of applying for publishing. When all goes well, Season 1 of Tales From The Unending Void will be available on Steam, with the remaining two seasons becoming DLC once they're ready.
