That's episode 4 out of the door. I've already started working on the story and renders for Episode 5, more on that in another update. With Episode 4 the core crew has been established and we'll delve a little deeper into their backgrounds in Episode 5. I know some of you are eager to have a bit of how's your father with the main cast and there's going to be plenty of that in the future, but we aren't there yet. The events in episode 5 and especially 6 will be a major catalyst for a good deal of the relationships in the game.

As the summer season approaches, I'll be on my annual summer holiday again like past years and won't be able to work on my projects, aside for some writing. Therefor, the development of episode 5 will likely take a little longer than usual, running over the two months I set myself for developing new content. The polls for extra scenes, renders, previews and other news will of course still be posted.

I'm going to render Jade now, who'll be featured in this render of the month!

2023-01-06 06:47:11 Hullos, new here. I like the universe set-up in the story with jump-gates, S-K-drives, etc. Harkens back to my tabletop RPG halcyon days! Loved the Howard the Duck swipe--very clever, harkening back to pre-Diaspora stellar migration days of Old Terra. Frankly, the mix of aliens and how the universe works brings us glimpses of B-5, and Firefly which I find welcoming to fathom in the smallship's crew style adventures we played out with 2 D6 die of long ago. On your story arc progress, I find the futa option refreshing might I say without going "overboard" about it. Looking forwards to Raene & Ziv's arc expanding as time goes by tho the foreshadowing leads me to guess Raene is transitioning against her Hierophant-father's wishes...I could be mistaken, but that's my read after doing two run-thru's of the game with your options. Along for the ride, and intrigued still! Slainte!

Welcome and thanks for joining! Really glad to hear you're enjoying the story so far. Very happy with the mention of Firefly and Babylon 5, as they're both very big inspirations. Sadly, I've yet to play in a sci-fi tabletop setting, as the groups I've participated in have all covered fantasy settings so far. Maybe one day and until that time reading books and writing Tales scratches that sci-fi itch.
