I loved this cover they did and the message at the end is so heartwarming and so powerful, we tend to forget that we are not just a color or a gender or a religion or a lifestyle, that we are at the base of it all, human, we all share that condition. I have sung on a stage twice, both were awful experiences so glad yours was a good one, kudos to your teacher!!

I always think of John Lennon when I hear PTX do this cover. He wanted so badly for everyone to just love each other and this was his masterpiece for world love and respect. I think he would have liked it, all the cards represented how different and how much alike the members of PTX are and that we can apply it to ourselves. Also loved their wall of sound!

I remember so well the night John Lennon was murdered. His message through his music was for peace and acceptance in this world and I think he would love this cover so much. I love this song of theirs for exactly the same reasons you do. Of course their singing, their harmonies, the arrangements are amazing. But also the way this video highlights that they have so much in common as a group and yet are also individually unique. They represent much more than their group and their musical talent. They represent all of us. Just imagine.
