Hello Kay, so good to knit along with you! I do like the new setting, it feels more informal. I am somewhat driven by KAL's I love to do them. I also am knitting the mitered square blanket which I am loving so much. I make scrap quilts and this is just like that. I am also really getting into sock knitting, still learning about that. I am a process knitter. I knit during the day when I have time and also in the evening. I can't sew at night when tired, I make mistakes. I can however knit a simple project in the evening. Thanks for all that you and Dan do.

Very much enjoyed the new setting and when I saw Kay on the couch, I instantly reached for my knitting. I don't know anyone who knits so knitting with Kay feels like "knitting group". The shawl pattern is lovely and I've put in in my queue. I currently find myself with about 8 WIP's which is insanity - I enjoy and want them all but it's a bit ridiculous having so many going at once. I get all the excitement for my next item and cast on immediately - which I RESISTED doing for the Holbrooke shawl. Thanks for your assessment of the pattern Kay, it makes me feel confident I could do it as I'm intimidated by lace. Please know we really appreciate all the thought you put into the video's!
