Love this Journey series! Hope there are many more. Regarding your concerns about sleeve length, Dan, after you knit the sleeve close to the length of Kay's wrist to underarm, you can take it off the needles, put the stitches on a string, and wash it. Let it hang to dry on your clothes line for a few days and this way you can see how much it will grow. After this you can finalize the sleeve measurement and ensure it fits. I also will take my pieces and baste them together with contrast color thread and try it on before I sew everything together to assess the fit of everything. It is much easier to adjust lengths BEFORE all the pieces are sewn together. :-)
