Not that it really matters but you forgot to change the ep name on the post title.

So after Lucia started bleeding she was about to use the panel to call for help but decided she just wanted to die. That's why she just 'gave up' and floated there.

A lot of people shame this season because they see Murty as this cliché bad guy. I think this situation is so complicated with no innocent party. They are both in the wrong and when you understand both sides you see how they choose the actions they take. And we are seeing a real life example of this type of conflict today.

One small detail that slid past me my first few watches was the back n forth between Elvi and Dr Sarkas. Talking about how the structures may have become brittle in time. Then Sarkas talks about his college fridge catching fire after coming back from break. Well... The island reactor dun caught fire after break from college, lol

Joel Quinn

I want to answer, but its a bit too early. But I'm definitely not someone who sees Murty als cliche - I think he is one of the most realistic characters and everything he does is well considered by him. But as I said, too early for me to discuss this more.

Dem feels when you hit the sync perfect first try.

As a physician I really liked the scene with Lucia and Alex as he tries to cauterize her "bleeder". It really is like that but usually the patient is asleep! Here they have a cool ostomy allowing access to the inner organs and do a pretty good job of showing what it looks like with the scope Alex is using (it is a camera and a suction and a cautery (or Bovi as we used to call it) all rolled into one tool). Exists today of course! The autodoc on the Roci is a very cool machine, a form of AI perhaps and the books do a lovely job of making it seem almost human in its actions! You will hopefully enjoy those parts when you read the novels. :-)

The intensity of the scenes between couples in this show are frighteningly real. They never go with simple cliche, they go hard...

A question was raised as to the the meaning of the Norwegian lyrics. It seems that the writer of the song and lyrics did not in fact use Norwegian as the language of the song other then to reference the tonal qualities of that language for the lyrics and vocals. This appears to be backed up by native Norwegian speakers. Episode subtitles showing "Singing in Norwegian" is not correct and we're reminded that streaming services were provided by a third party. People have proposed that the lyrics are as much Norwegian as the Elves were speaking Finnish in Lord of the Rings, in that elements of the language was borrowed for dialog.

The flaw in your example is that Prax isn't coming to kick the Belters out of their home. If anything, Prax would side with the Belters and work to help him thrive.

Warp Reactor

Oh completely agree! My scenario was what if Prax was on the heavy shuttle just catching a ride (say he was there to help both groups grow food, etc). Amos would've scorched that New Earth down to the Lithium :)
