At least season 2 is in production

I've read the entire manga. You will not guess the central mystery of this show. I am generally good at understanding plot structure and stuff and am often correct about how a piece of media will go. As far as the central mystery, basically never got close to the actual truth. Can't wait for season 2.

the biggest tragedy of this show is that it was peak but held back by Netflix keeping it in jail for way too long and killing any momentum it had. But the creators knew they made something fuckin fire and they made this season as an intended first part. Netflix getting the distribution rights and not having anything close to simulcast at the time ruined they way that the studio could gauge success. Good ass manga though. I'm just happy that it did get a season two, even if I gotta wait. Also the OP and all the EDs slap fuckin hard.

Man, I forgot how fats this one season is, feels like we went through a dozen different arcs

Now you know the way that Dorohedoro fans felt, Both manga readers and anime only fans, But with the second season being acknowledged I couldn't be happier, Since Mappa isn't working on Dorohedoro now who do you think will replace them? I've seen someone say the studio that made Beastars would be nice, And they can keep the 3d animation.

I always recommend people check out the manga (and read it from the beginning), both because we haven't and may never get a season 2, and also because, for as goof as the anime is, it still doesn't compare to the manga. It has Berserk levels of "incredibly detailed, impossible to adapt faithfully" levels of artwork.

Yeah, now I remember why I couldn't remember *anything* about this Anime. I remember having a good time. I remember the character Designs for Caiman and Nikaido. That was it. Nothing else. And yeah, with an ending like this that RAMPS UP the stringing-you-along drip-feeding of info, while giving you NOTHING in terms of answers. It tracks that I remember nothing. Feels like you wasted your time for even trying to follow the plot. The characters are also kinda in the middle of something when everything just *ends*. Both literally, and character arc-wise. Especially Caiman and Nikaido, our main characters. But like Alicia said: it's a good show though :) The character dynamics are fantastic. The worldbuilding is interesting, even though it's slow to reveal. It's a fun time. Just... not good as a complete product ^^'

It reminds me of Hell's Paradise anime. Also 12 episodes, also feels like a half-season

I'm not sure where to post this but I started watching an anime that I think you'd enjoy a lot. It's called Quailty assurance in Another World. It's a newer show that's still on-going but so far very griping : )
