Unfortunately Newman spent the episode in a state of total incredulity to the degree that she never actually detailed any particular allegations against Kinsey, but just repeatedly called him a criminal. I do not disagree with this assessment, but her indignation got in the way of her ability to let listeners get any idea about what the nature of any of these “experiments” were. I’m sorry but she was just complaining and screaming the whole time. Would appreciate a follow-up episode from Nick where he clarifies what it was that Kinsey was actually doing, not just saying “he was a sicko who didn’t get informed consent”.

Completely agree with you. Ultimately it wasn’t a very good episode (nothing you did Nick) because of this. I didn’t learn anything :/
