As per our lewduty, we would like to update you with what we have been up to:

Reporting for lewduty!

  • Fix for Not Wearing Badge Content in the bar.
  • 2 Newly Animated CGs, available at 2 NPCs in Carceburg. Now, most of the roaming NPCs in Carceburg should have some kind of content beyond one liners or two liners.

Bear:

I've been working on 2 things for TC! :) One is the refresh of the Animation Gallery UI. The new UI is going to be WAY more user friendly, by providing a single button to have the animation do its thing. Before, you had to manually set each parameter of the animation. You can still do that, but I hope everyone can agree that the new way is much simpler! ^-^


The other is Lovense integration into animations. The way this works is by checking pre-existing animation events that we use for sounds and similar things and increasing the Lovense Toys intensity accordingly. There was a lot of fine-tuning required to get this to make sense across all of our 90 Animations. Some older Animations actually don't have any sound events, so they do not work with the Lovense integration just yet. I'm planning to add sounds to those older animations though, which will fix this! :)

Once that's done, I'm going to be looking into improving controller support. This will focus on Combat and general SteamDeck improvements, but I'll see how neat I can make it beyond that! :)

PMPerfect:

Focus point of environments in TC right now is the interior of the tower. We were looking into how levels might look overall, preferably to make it cool and grande, and some of the mechanics we want to implement with it. For example, the idea of having multiple floors in the single level is very appealing and we tried how it may look and what we can do with it. On the screenshot with just white/gray layout you can see the idea of having puzzle levels with moving platforms. Slowly the vibe we are striving for is emerging, lastly the focus is on concepting a bunch of cool looking set pieces that would make the level whole and fill it nicely, here is a first list of those:

For Third Crisis we are currently in the middle of the first of a few of what we're calling 'health updates'. You may have heard of this term being thrown around in previous reports, but essentially these will be updates focused almost entirely on QoL changes and bugfixes. The current plan is 3 months of these updates (one per month as usual) before beginning the charge on the final 1.0 release of Third Crisis with the culmination of the main story finale. We want to make sure the foundation is steady and the game is in the best state it can be before we finish it.

So for this first health update, I've been doing a lot of work on enhancing Skip Mode with new functionality to skip newer mechanics like the Tile Puzzles seen in Sublevel 4 and 5. Now in Skip Mode, all you have to do is step onto the final button to solve the puzzle even if some tiles haven't been stepped on. Alongside that, I've also added a button to unlock all journals while in Skip Mode, added unlimited money when in Skip Mode, and added a button to the stats menu to add or remove perversion so you no longer have to open the console to add money or perversion when trying to get the scenes you want fast.

Alongside that, I'm currently working on something pretty new and exciting. It's a Lovense API integration using their 'Game Mode' state in the settings of the Lovense Remote app. It essentially lets us send commands to Lovense toys from the game and send good vibes to any of you willing to give it a try once this first health update releases. We've got an initial implementation via the settings menu like so:

You get this information by going on your phone to the Lovense Remote app and going to 'settings', then 'Game Mode'. It will give you the local IP address to your phone and the port that the lovense app is using. Like this:

Right now I've got this fancy implementation of Lovense hooked up to the game's screen shake mechanic. So any time the screen shakes, you'll shake.

It won't just be screen shakes though, bear has also implemented toy functionality into our animations as well via sound events, and I've got a list of mechanics that I'll be going through to hook up to this as well! It won't just be a gimmick, but something you'll be experiencing throughout the game. Sort of like a... controller rumble for your lower parts. ;)

I've been working on bug fixes for TC and new puzzles for the tower. I want to find a good balance for them so they are a bit more engaging than before. Here are two examples:

I also started to make a rough layout for the tower so we have the map for the tower done as early as possible. So we can start with content implementation early to bring more to the tower level since it will be the finale.

I also did a lot of work for the next project in the TC universe. Story layout, new characters, the background of the character, and how the world might be structured.

We also looked into updating the art style for the next TC project :
