December Updates (Patreon)

It's been a little bit since I did a proper update and we had a little discussion today. So I'll be listing off some of the stuff we talked about and recapping it for you guys.

December Plans

November went decently well aside from the AMAs being behind. I'll be getting to what's going on with those in a bit. This month is gonna be crazy for me due to the holidays and so I'll quickly go over what's going on.

I basically need to have all of my December stuff done by the 20th and then I'll be having the holidays with visiting family and having friends over, etc. It's gonna be a bit crazy so I've arranged an order to complete work and by what times.

As of now all of the Holiday icons have been laid out and now I'll be working through them to finish them up. If I work quickly they should all be done by the end of the week. I'm putting all of my time into that right now. After that I'll be getting all the patron streams together and then wrapping up my month with the Rule 34 image. 

I'll be catching up on AMAs over the holidays when I'm not doing direct Patreon work.

January and Beyond

I'll be catching up on and finishing commissions by this time and I won't be taking any new ones (booooo) until I finish Ladon's comic since that was also a commission and it continues to be put off so I'm just gonna buckle down and get it done.

Now for the fun news.

I quit my job prematurely. I've got about 2-3 weeks left at it and I'll no longer be working there. After working there for a year I've had it with dealing with a disorganized boss and a lot of unfortunate circumstances involving that recently have pushed me to quit. It's stressed me out so much and I just can't handle it anymore.

I've been offered a loan by a friend to work out the next few months' budgeting until my boyfriend Dizz gets work. And on that topic..

Finances and Living situation

We've been struggling to work through having Dizz stay in Canada due to some complications and we're going through some stuff like applying for common-law and whatnot. It's become very stressful quickly. 

At this point I'm not pursuing another job  because it won't be as flexible and I won't be able to continue keeping up with Patreon stuff (I'm struggling enough as it is). So on that matter I'll be trying to work out some stuff to deal with my motivation and planning.

Full Time Artist

So this always scared me but I'm here now. I'm gonna be working through some strategies and getting help to stay motivated and take better care of myself now that I'm going to have more time. I'm hoping to being studying art and improving as well as putting time into my music. If I can't manage to work it out and get my act together then I suppose I'll be disciplined and lose my support (rightfully so) and I'll go back to normal day job work. 

I'm now at a point where my artistic career is in the balance and if I can't manage to hold it up then I suppose I'm just not cut out for it~ We'll find out how that goes.
