Hi! I'm not sure if you're open to series recommendations from strangers and no judgement if you pass over this comment, but I loved this video (iyashikei and the like has always had a special place in my heart so it see so many of my favorite series get featured and getting to see new and old shows alike I haven't seen before was such a treat) and so I rushed to patreon in hopes that my comment would have a better chance of getting seen. Anyways, the segment of shows featuring the post-apocalyptic setting unearthed a not that distant memory of a manga I read called Girls' Last Tour that I feel fits right in with the other series mentioned. It's more of the setting and characters define the show rather than anything specific that happens, just two girls wandering around a giant brutalist/endless concrete post apocalyptic city while snow falls and they struggle to survive and find food and occasionally run into other survivors. Despite not focusing at all on nature in the same way as the other shows mentioned in your video I still think it looks absolutely gorgeous, the amount of details in the background work of the manga is incredible I love it so much (actually your video on Riichi Ueshiba's series made me remember this same series a little bit too, the amount of background details and just stuff going on in the backgrounds is very similar). There's also a lot of interesting themes of human creations like robots or computers that just continue to run endlessly on autopilot long after humans are gone that I found really interesting and touching, it gives endless concrete metropolis so much life and character and honestly unlocked a new aesthetic interest for me. There's also a 2017 anime adaptation that ran for one season that I thought captured the feeling of the manga well but I'd still recommend the manga first and foremost because I actually think the series looks better in greyscale, but the background artists in the anime went just as hard which I think is one of the best parts. The manga author is Tsukumizu by the way, if you want just a quick idea of the kind of style and feel you can google their name and examples of their art will come up. If you have read all the way through this word vomit thank you for hearing me out and I hope you will check it out and enjoy it! While I don't know your tastes I feel like from what I've seen you recommend or talk about liking in your videos that that this would be something you'd enjoy. Have a great day/night/whenever you're reading this!
