January is just drivin' on by! Help me choose a movie to watch next! (If The Fast and the Furious wins, I'm not committing myself to all ten movies haha)

I've never seen it, but I'd wager the original '70s version of "Gone in 60 Seconds" is probably better than the Nicolas Cage remake. If you want other '70s car-related flicks, there's also "Vanishing Point;" "Two-Lane Blacktop;" "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry;" and "The Driver" (starring the recently-deceased Ryan O'Neal). I'll also throw out Quentin Taratino's "Death-Proof," which references a lot of the aforementioned titles.

Another car-related movie that I would also add to a future car-themed movie poll is Gran Turismo (2023). #GranTurismoForAddieCounts Please keep adding Days of Thunder (1990) and Gone in 60 Seconds (2000) on other polls as well. You should also consider watching both 1974 & 2000 versions of Gone in 60 Seconds so you can decide for yourself which version you prefer.

Death Proof was a fun fun film, but it may be a bit much for Addie. Although she did enjoy the "Killer of Men" title in the Jumanji films, so she may enjoy it after all.

I haven't seen Gran Turismo yet, but every time I hear that title I think about Gran Torino (2008), which isn't really about the car but it still a pretty good movie.
