Happy Tuesday. I am watching you from London, UK. Yes I meant a live QandA for youtube.

Andre Agog

The David Lynch Dune is easily his worst movie, and he readily admits to that. But it's a fantastically lurid romp. The new Villeneuve movies are much better nonetheless. Perhaps you could go back to the 1984 one after seeing the new ones.

LightsCameraJake

oops crap, I must of missed the post to ask questions for this Q and or A. Next time xD

Byrd N. Hand

On the other end of the spectrum, I still consider David Lynch's 2001 film "Mulholland Drive" to be the best film of the 21st century so far. While I'd love to see Addie react to it, I know surrealism isn't for everyone.

Happy Tuesday, Addie. I'm watching this from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you so much for answering most of my questions. Some of them were unanswered but I'll rework them for July. And stay tuned for more rapid fire questions next month. BTW, nice Empathy sweater.

Byrd N. Hand

OK, it's mid-June and you're wearing a sweatshirt. Are you like my sister and get cold very easily? (Even though we live in Minnesota and you live in Tennessee...) 🤷‍♂

Alex Tan

I'm pretty sure Addie got used to wearing sweaters, so basically it's her thing.

I do get cold easily! There's a vent under my desk, so it gets a little chilly while recording sometimes :)

Mr. Writhms

Thanks for answering my question about the intro music. ✌️🙂

Alex Tan

I should also mention that I would love to take a selfie with you, if I were to ever recognize you somewhere.

...and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) has a non-linear plot, which is why most people find it hard to comprehend with that movie. It's actually about a faded Western TV actor, Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), and his stunt double/best friend, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who are navigating their lives and struggling to find meaningful work through a Hollywood film industry that they're no longer familiar with. Rick also lives next door to director Roman Polanski (Rafał Zawierucha) & actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), whose fates are about to be altered by the Manson family.

Chip MC

thanks for answering my questions. looking forward to a tarantino reaction :)

Byrd N. Hand

Yes, it definitely helps to know some background info about the Manson family and Sharon Tate when watching "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." Of course, that's the movie I would've suggested Addie start with, given that it's probably Tarantino's least violent film. Maybe she'd appreciate it more if she just watched all of his films chronologically and see the evolution of his style. Also, I'm *still* waiting for him to finally make his single 4-hour cut of "Kill Bill" commercially available...

Phil Stubblefield

A bit late to the party (I had a *busy* day), but I'm watching from just outside Seattle, WA. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest! ⛰ (That's supposed to be a mountain emoji, but it looks pretty bad on Patreon!)

Seeing that the Seven reaction went so well and that you have positive (positive?) feelings about the movie... Park Chan Wook's Oldboy is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It is disturbing, but really is a wonderful movie (based on a manga) and a standout of Korean cinema. I would suggest you add it to your list. Oldboy is actually the second in Park Chan Wook's Vengeance trilogy (along with "Sympathy for Mr Vengeance" and "Lady Vengeance"), and all three are great, but requesting them all might be a stretch. And if I were to suggest a second of his films, I'd probably go with JSA.

Alex Tan

And I do hope that she watches Inglourious Basterds (2009) soon.

Heyyy, it’s Billy and I’m from Rio Rancho, New Mexico/the northwest edge of Albuquerque. Rapid fire… Do you have any Chucks? (Converse) Andor was great and it will have a second season and it will end setting up Rogue One. Blood and Gore.. you have gotten better. Sleepyhead, that’s a cute and appropriate name for a coffee shop. The Karate Kid.. the first two are awesome. Good Will Hunting.. not exactly screaming but I was a little animated. jk You could do without watching/reacting to The South Park movie. There’s a great cover of The Climb by Boyce Avenue. Movie recommendation.. I will always include Ladyhawke (1985) stars Matthew Broderick. I’m betting very few or no one else here has seen it. Troy is awesome! Very cool QnA, Addie! Thank you for sharing with us!

In response to your Q and A I’m from the UK and since watching your channel I have learned some new words like “dang” and “skit” which I now use often. My friends look at me like I’m mad. 😊
