[sigh] In usual Disney Star Wars fashion, they feel the need to 1) cut down characters from the original 6 movies/make them often look foolish in order to prop up their new, highly non-descript creations; 2) pull a gratuitous bait-and-switch (Obi-Wan ends up protecting Leia more than Luke! -- even though she should've had plenty of others to look after her, being Alderaan royalty 🙄); 3) undermine/break major continuity in terms of story from those first 6 movies; and 4) hide behind pandering, unearned fan service/lazy nostalgia-baiting. George Lucas no doubt continues to bang his head against a wall. 😑

Seriously, the show is more about Reva, nobody’s favorite character, than it is about Obi Wan. Actually, he’s more like Jake Kenobi than the beloved character we all know. Yet shills eat this nonsense up simply because it’s branded as ‘Star Wars’.
