Episode 3 (KGB agents) “Are you here because of the fire? Anything we should be worried about?” “No.” That was the answer they wanted to hear, not only to prevent any panic but to check if he would spill the beans to just anyone. He said “no” because he didn’t want them to panic AND there was nothing to correct what already happened. During their walk, I was so focused on what they were saying, I never noticed that he was feeding some stray dogs 💔 Episode 4 “There are 16 RBMK reactors running in the Soviet Union right now. We have to fix them. The only way to do that is to go public, force the Central Committee to take action.” “What you’re proposing is that Legasov humiliate a nation that is obsessed with not being humiliated.” The sheer arrogance of the country was honestly a reflection of the WORLD. Who would accept and admit their mistakes AND be recognized as a failure? There is no possible way to prepare anyone watching this series about those scenes without spoiling it. It had to affect everyone involved, those from the cast and crew, especially those who actually did that. The total tragedies are simply endless. You would never be able to put a total number on it* I’m really hoping you might post the last episode either Friday or during the weekend to finish this, I can’t wait to see the finale with you. hey addie, so the one thing this show gets wrong is how radiation is spread. It dosnt spread like a disease like shown in this. once the husband was decontaminated she nor her baby would of been at risk of radiation poisoning. This was only added for dramatization. in reality, The plastic shielding around him was to keep his immune system safe from her and outside world and not the other way around. He was more at risk from her killing him.

Well the show didn’t get it wrong because this info was only realized years later by doctors and scientists. The show still depicts what they “thought” had happened.
