Summary: It's been four long years since the catastrophic events of Busanhaeng (2016), and a virulent zombie outbreak sweeps South Korea from end to end. Now, on the carcass of the levelled city of Incheon, the guilt-ridden former Marine Captain, Jung-seok, embarks on a suicide mission to locate a truck carrying bags crammed with $20 million in cash, along with a trio of equally reckless fortune seekers. But, in the endless urban wasteland of debris and death, multitudes of ravenous living-dead are on the prowl for human flesh, and as if that weren't enough, the dangerous mercenaries of villainous Sergeant Hwang's Unit 631 roam the dark mega-city. Can the condemned quartet of invaders escape from the quarantined Korean peninsula and live to tell the tale?

If you make something as near perfect as "Train to Busan" move immediately to an entirely different genre.

Stephen Crane

Lightning rarely strikes in the same place twice.

Love the review, but just don't care for Zombie flicks.

The film this reminded me of most was ‘Land of the dead’ weirdly. Wasn’t a patch on the original.

I liked it as a beer and chips movie. I didn't even think about the "Train to Busan", just enjoyed it, trying to see if it went where I expected it to go and when. Spotting influences and trying to answer my daughters continuous stream of "Why are they doing that? that's stupid!" Ah. family time...

I don't know if this film covers it, but I would like to understand why after four year,s there are so many up and about, fresh as a daisy zombies! Shouldn't they mostly have fallen to pieces by now? Even if the illness or parasite or whatever is what's animating the corpses, there can't be enough live human flesh to go around.
