The Zombies are revolting ---

Wow - I wasn't aware of this one. I'll definitely have to check it out. Fortunately, it can be found on YouTube. Thanks, guys!

Armand is played by a young Dean Jagger, twenty years before "X the Unknown".

Just like something out of one of the movies that you cover, when I first watched this review, the audio and visual were wildly out of sync, with lots of "speechless" shots of Robin & clips totally out of place. Fortunately, a quick boot up the backside of the Internet sorted out the technical difficulties and I was able to enjoy the proper presentation. I love the way that the Zombie Master could just release all of his slaves simultaneously by an act of will. And the girl still doesn't have to marry him, because he's been torn to bits by the former Zombies!!

This is one of those movies that actually do things accidentally that make them much better/funnier/more aware than they meant to be. Like the whole "end of the white race" thing. I'm sure the characters were simply being presented as the Right Honorable Guardians of Civilization but of course they actually managed to show their entire collective ass. Then there's Evil Sorcerer "I shop for all my outfits as the local production of Charley's Aunt" guy offering to join forces and getting strangled three minutes later: that was honestly a very smart move on Armand's part! Unlike not realizing that your ENTIRE ARMY is made up of people who are going to be pretty damn furious with you over the entire enslaving their souls business.

This one reminded me of Michael Palin's 'Roger of the Raj' 'Ripping Yarn' for some reason. I might be thinking of 'Razor Blade Smile' which doesn't actually count, but I'm sure there is a film where a man spends eternity ruining the love life of the woman who spurned him.
