Same here. Had the good luck to see the Spanish version at an Alamo Drafthouse a couple years ago.

I saw it some years back on a double bill with the Lugosi version, it was at The Centre For Contemporary Art. What struck me about the Spanish Dracula was how rodant-like the actor looked. It was a pity his performance was so hammy, because he was quite creepy at times.

Wow! That's the perfect way to see both films! And I agree that the Spanish Dracula was, at best, inconsistent.
