Conway Twitty was massive in the 60s and 70s, achieving iconic status in country music circles in the 80s. He was also responsible for several big hits for other artists. Anyway... crap film!

I'm amazed this writer/director/star went with astrology--because basically it's just doing charts. It's the same reason films about writers are so hard to do, because watching somebody write isn't that enthralling. (Also, Tarot cards have nothing to do with astrology. Nor does palm reading, which he apparently did at the carnival?)

Great to see the Dark Lords back together again! Thanks for putting out the Detractors' Commentary on the same day as the review. Craig Alexander was obviously trying to be the Martha Stewart of Astrology. According to CafeAstrology.com, Sidereal Astrology is also known as the Vedic system; don't know if it includes Tarot, Palm Reading, Tea Leaves or Phrenology.

It is hilarious how inept this film is. Are you going to review any of Mystic Meg’s films? There is sort of historical precedent for oil companies using an astrologer from a side show. Barnum had a woman who could find oil. However this was most likely a publicity stunt that drew people to the Circus, and the publicity from the magical 'discovery' would help part locals from their money by encouraging them to invest in the oil well.

If he (or his astrology adviser, which definitely is coded as "other" when filing tax forms) was really good at astrology, shouldn't they have been able to know this would be a flop?
