This series is just Robin sitting in front of a camera talking about a film...and yet it's enthralling.

Great episode. I actually got his one confused with 'Sabotage' thinking I hadn't seen it until I looked it up (In Tashen's Complete Films of AH') and realised it's 'Sabotage' I haven't seen. I think the humour comes from his upbringing in the East End, it is a bit of a cliché that we're all making dark jokes the whole time. But it kind of is true.

I like the idea of revisiting Hitchcock tropes and choices and how they matured. It wouldn’t be about minimizing him, but about how he learned to use the various items in his toolbox to greater and greater effect.

Norman Llloyd who is the villain who Cummings fights with on the Statue of Liberty is still very much alive at 106 years old.
