Fred Ward who played Lyle Swann does have some good films to his credit like Remo Williams, Thunderheart and the sci-fi classic Tremors.

Jasmine Zantara

Time After Time came two years before Timerider, not after. It is possible Timerider was paying homage to Time After Time, but it all could be a crazy coincidence, too.

Yeah, the only way to do time travel is to establish your own particular rules and stick to them, like Connie Willis does with her time traveling historians from Oxford in her novels. Basically the rules are : 1) you can only travel to the past, 2) you can only visit a period in the past once so you can't meet yourself, 3) it isn't possible to go to or affect turning points in history, such as trying to shoot Hitler or similar and 4) you can't bring anything forward with you unless it was about to disappear from the timeline, like a painting that was about to be burned.

And that makes me go add some more to my Amazon wish list...

The Dr Who TV series just declared that Time Lords were immune from paradox and didn't worry about it.

I am so excited that you are going to give Howling II the DC treatment! Can't wait to see the reviews, both uncensored and with Graham's magic cover ups, and Detractors' Commentary. I'm sure that they will all be awesome!

You fools, I warned you of The Howling 2! Enjoy black boxing that, Graham.

I haven't watched Millennium (1989) in a very long time, but as I recall, they didn't do too bad a job with the time travel.

When Sarah Jane asked Four just said, "I could explain it to you but I don't really have the time" Although in some instances the TARDIS protects them from changes in the timeline. As with 'The Sun Makers' which contradicts the timeline the Doctor knows because it exists due to non Time Lords perverting the time line.

'Private Parts' will be good, the first Paul Bartel film you've done? I think 5th November gets used because it has so many big events tied to it. Guy Faulks, The Dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire by Napoleon, The creation of Poland, The October Revolution (in the western calendar Lenin called for it on 5th November) Bombing of the Vatican and election of Nixon.
