I can't agree with Robin on the Cloverfield poster. It's brilliantly done with even making a giant monster mysterious.

Awesome giant monster posters? The original American release poster for Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. The pair of them squaring off like something from a 1940's boxing match. It told you exactly what you were going to get. They redid it for Godzilla vs Megalon, but put them both standing on what you would swear were the twin towers in New York. Now that, I really wanted to see.

For 'New York' the original poster for Able Ferrara's 'The Addiction. A black and white image of Lili Taylor with just her lips picked out in crimson. Can I cheat and have 'The Bride of Frankenstein' as favourite monster poster. I mean Karloff is The Monster...

Gigantis The Fire Monster has some pretty artsy ones that I am watching like a hawk on eBay

To be fair to Corman, Beast from Haunted Cave was one of his "twofers"--that is, he shot it at the same time he was filming Ski Troop Attack (he used the local ski team as extras but they all bailed when they found out they weren't getting paid.) I also liked the character of Gypsy, played by Sheila Noonan. She really nailed the world-weary gangster's moll.
