'12 Angry Men' is based off of Reginald Rose's original teleplay. Films adapting books and plays is as old as films themselves.

Sugar, films from DC Productions are worth waiting for!

The extra passengers are Star Trek "red shirts" there to make us think that they are canon fodder. Obviously they wanted space for social distancing, but didn't want to wear masks.

So, not necessarily structured into Acts, but around commercial breaks, which were probably easier to smooth over. One thing's for sure, it put me off of ever wanting to be on a jury!

About the plane, what they should have had is a 747 cargo variant, where you just have the upper deck for passengers. You could still have recycled the pre existing sets of the upper deck, and they do sell those extra seats. They'd have had to put in some exposition, but this film isn't afraid of exposition. Shatner and France Nuyen have a bit of history they starred opposite each other on Broadway in 'The World of Suzi Wong' and when she was on 'Star Trek' they annoyed some of the others by speaking in French. (people forget that English is Shatner's third language. He didn't learn it till he was around 10 at school. He's from Montreal where they speak French and at home he spoke Yiddish.)

I always wonder why these curses don't strike the heavy machinery operators, or when the cursed thing is sitting around in a warehouse waiting to be loaded onto the plane. After you're at 37,000 feet, Abbey, you've got problems simply striking out at passengers won't solve.
