Florida? Nah, it's all about alligators and Edward Scissorhands... and possibly Cocoon. Come on guys, give us the Deliverance poster for Georgia. The shotgun rising out of the water, the three men in a boat (JKJerome eat your heart out). And then there's the Louisiana based Southern Comfort. One man, gun slinger pose, up to his knees in a swamp plus a reference to Deliverance so we know there's gonna be some inbred redneck villain's. Brilliant. Bring them on!

I do have a soft spot for the head being drilled from 'Driller Killer' maybe because it was the cover of the Dutch VHS I got from Romford Market. '30 days of night' was the last Hollywood film where vampires were a threat. Rather than wimpy post 'Twilight' ones we get now.

Full agreement. You can blame it on that Lestat stuff that Rice put out followed by the Twilight stuff and even Angel from Buffy the vampire slayer... In his Monster Hunter books Larry Correia does a good run down of them, reminding his characters that they're throat ripping, blood drinking predators who consider us as a mobile buffet, not twinkly lovelorn poets. Besides, who can trust a 100 year old old who hangs around high schools looking for a teenage date? Nope, we need to go back to having them be true threats.
