Corman could have done it in 5 days while suffering from repeated shots to the groin. But seriously, the premise isn’t terribly interesting to me but the story behind it might override that.

Yep, I saw it and, like you, found a bunch of stuff to laugh at and some things which pressed all my "Runaway!" buttons. It was entertaining and innovative. Would I watch it again? Heck no. Would I want to see a more polished part 2 named "The Terrable Two's", or something equally bizarre, about the babies early years? Oh yes... Now if only Wes Craven were still around to give Alice some tips on how to smooth her production.

Why is it in female-driven horror films that the men come in two categories: chauvinistic pigs who must die or wimpy nice guys who still must die (being men)?

Considering the way women have long been (and still are, in many cases) depicted in films of all genres, I don't think we have much scope for complaint!
