Summary:A brilliant professor invents a computer machine meant to better society by altering the behavior of its subjects. Also, there's a sometimes effect that turns things into weird, little metal balls that attack people, as one unfortunate burglar finds out. His shut-in daughter also uses the machine like a video game, either unaware or uncaring of its real world effects on nearby machinery. Lastly, his daughter has a puppet that either has an AI or is alive that helps her make decisions about life. In league with a mysterious man, the professor's psychotic assistant gets a hold of it and she manipulates it to warp people's minds and turn them into murderous weapons. She selects three young college girls as her victims and invites them up to the professor's house for a weekend of torture and diabolical experiments. Accompanying the young women, are a pair of local sleazy barflies who are looking to score with the college girls. Over the course of the weekend, sexy hijinks ensue all the while the college girls are subjected to the machine and its weird effects. Meanwhile, on a parallel course, the shut-in daughter contemplates losing her virginity after consulting with her puppet.

Gonna need you to run that one by me again, Robin. And the easy answer is the sexy teens in any given slasher movie. The more pinpoint answer is literally every action undertaken by the evil spacemen to take down Starman in any of his movies. Don’t let his appearance fool you, he is 100% unstoppable and seeing them line up to try and be the one to take him down is actually somehow less believable than when they do the same thing in a John Wick movie. Which I should note is one of the reasons I love both franchises.

Ahhhh, ending on one of the great questions "How do I make love to a ghost?" That ones gonna take some serious study. As to movie characters doing things real people wouldn't? Forgetting the One-At-A-Time Martial arts fights, the glasses-removal-and-hair-letdown reveal, the ceaseless monologues from every villain from Fu Manchu to... well, Ed Woods best mate Criswell. The 80's revenge of the nerds flics, almost anything by John Hughes or Kevin Smith - even though I Iike most of those movies... It's hard to choose just one.

I read the description with a quizzical eyebrow, watched the video and lo and behold, you were only being truthful. As for "no way, no how" behaviors in films? Obviously this is a rich field, but I'd go with the many variations of young ingenue type shows up at mysterious/scary location, is threatened within thirty seconds, and does NOT call a cab or otherwise flee immediately, even when there's no reason given why she/he can't do so.

"George" is creepy. I mean SERIOUSLY creepy. Who gives a doll a Black Heart for a mouth anyway? Yech!
