Summary: In the future, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods) have ravaged Earth, leaving a world where pockets of communities live within canyons while a violent wind known as the "slipsteam" is the only means of transport, via airplanes. Matt Owens is a nomadic adventurer who kidnaps a prisoner ("Byron") of two violent law officers so he can claim the bounty for himself. Traveling across the wind swept landscape, Matt and Byron are relentlessly pursued by the officers, and Matt finds Byron isn't what he appears to be, as they travel from community to community and encounter pockets of strange societies that live beyond the slipstream.

Didn’t know this movie existed until about.... 7 1/2 minutes ago. Luckily for Mark, he’s like Michael Cain in that people only remember him for his best stuff.

Great review of a pretty obscure movie. As for me, I'll be away from Patreon for a couple of months, I guess, due to a cut in my work hours. But I still support your efforts, guys - it made a huge difference in my current "quarantine adventure". Bur I promise to be back (as a "Shadow", of course) once my full work schedule has been restored to me. Cheers!

You guys stay safe, as well...

Okay, I admit it. due to this review I've gone and watched the whole thing. I blame this moment of weakness on the Quarantine making me do things, sick things, evil things. That's probably why I'm looking at the DVD cover of Pia Zadora's "Butterfly" and the voices in my head are getting louder...

Hard to see where this went wrong, director of Tron, producer and star of star wars, star of aliens, music from Elmer Bernstein and writer of the More Wild Wild West TV movie... no wait I got it.
