AKA Old Dracula, which you may remember from our Advent Calendar. Some great titles came up during advent so I thought I'd check out a few, starting with this. I went back and forth throughout, it's definitely bad enough and I love the cast, which if you're British is very well known with people from Carry On, from Hammer, from TV sitcom and Eastenders. The plot is also ludicrous and really quite racist, which in the end was one of the reasons I turned it down - even making fun of it doesn't quite work. As ever, bad comedy films don't work as well for us and this fell short. I wouldn't bother watching, it's not even the inappropriate 70s fun that the poster suggests.

Saw this in theatre when I was a kid (yes, I’m that old). I remember bits and pieces, but nothing in terms of liking it or not, bit only saw it the one time, so maybe that’s some indication of how I felt.

I also saw this back in the dim before-time. All I really remember is that it wasn't very funny & Niven turns up in black-face at the end. Would have enjoyed seeing DC take the Mickey out of it, but can understand why they decided to pass.
