The director who made this also helmed another Clive Barker adaption. I dread to think what would've happened had he gotten ahold of Hellraiser! haha

Stay with me on this: Jurassic Park is an incredible movie, but it could have been better (at the expense of then-record-setting box office returns because of a necessary R rating) if it had adopted the horror elements from the book.

Agreed. I’m one of the few who’s not a fan of Jurassic Park. Take away the dinosaurs and there’s not much left. Giving it an edge would’ve given more power to the theme.
