Maniac looks like it was filmed on the first camera ever made, but I think it’s not even “low hanging fruit” as far as reviews go such much as fruit that falls slice by slice into your mouth. That said, it’s worth a watch in your free time because it’s very Pre-Code. Plus it’s an hour long and free to watch. Rifftrax did it too.

My vote: Raw Head Rex. I don't think you guys have done a Clive Barker film before, so this would be a first.

I would suggest Maniac for that description alone, especially since I love it when you cover older films, but from what I hear Rawhead Rex is pretty wacky and bad in a Dark Corners kind of way.

Maniac not only has a great description, it's ABSOLUTELY NUTS. And I'm hardly surprised people are connecting Quatermass with Doctor Who. It was certainly an influence on DW. *Particularly* in the Third Doctor's era.
