Discovered this one while looking for films with Dark in the title to do as bonus reviews for you guys when your Patreoniversary comes up. We couldn't get hold of a copy in time for that but it's so good that we decided to do it as a normal review.
The poster may look familiar and this was marketed as Terminator 2 outside of the US, something which it really doesn't have any right to do. I have quite a good feeling about this review, purely because I came up with one joke that I really liked. This is the same director as Robowar - another brazen rip-off - but other than that, I really don't know Bruno Mattei. Any recommendations?

Well, other than Robowar you've also reviewed Seven Magnificent Gladiators, which Mattei directed under the pseudonym Claudio Fragasso. In terms of recommendations, I think Cruel Jaws (AKA Jaws 5: Cruel Jaws) is one of the most shameless of Jaws knock-offs, plus it has a Hulk Hogan lookalike fighting a tiger shark. Mattei directed dozens of movies, a lot of entertaining exploitation flicks to be found on his résumé .

Bruno Mattei and Claudo Fragasso are certainly a low-rent pair! Haha. Other 'noteworthy' films of theirs besides the ones mentioned above are Strike Commando (a Rambo 2 ripoff), Strike Commando 2 (A ripoff of practically all the same Rambo 2 scenes, but with the added inclusion of hilariously bad acting.) Hell of the Living Dead, Rats: Night of Terror, and SS Girls (that last one perhaps might be a bit too wild for Dark Corners though. haha.

I’ve only seen Hell of The Living Dead, but I can safely recommend it for a review. My favorite part of that was how the main lady reacted to every zombie attack like it was the first zombie attack she’d ever seen. And there’s a lot of zombie attacks.

I seem to recall that characters also constantly SAY to shoot them in the heads, yet they never do. xD
