I'm Working On: School of Corman! (Patreon)

We've got a few specials in various stages (The Horror Films of F. W. Murnau is now in editing), but next on my writing list is this one which we've been talking about for a while. I think it's impossible to do a special just about Roger Corman because of the sheer number of films, so we're looking at the people who worked for him before going onto bigger things. Pretty much everyone knows about Jack Nicholson and Martin Scorsese, but there are many, many more; some big names and some less well known who still went onto work on big films. At the moment I'm still in the research stages; I've got a list of names, culled mostly from the pictured book, and I'm now making up a list of films those people worked on. The hard bit will be presenting this information so it's more than a list of names of people and films, fitting it all together into something that's lucid and entertaining.
I think this is going to be unlike any special we've done yet because the tone has to suit the subject and the tone of a Corman special is not going to be the same as one on Lon Chaney or even Hammer horror. It's going to be fun.
