I'm Working On: The Playgirls and The Vampire (Patreon)

You can probably spot the films I just picked because of the title and because I think casual browsers are more likely to click on the review. It's hard to think of a more exploitation title than this, but age has made the movie itself surprisingly charming overall. The girls get a bit of character to call their own (not a lot, but compared to other films of this type). The plot is predictable, but well told and there is good atmosphere created. I wonder if some of the sets - the dungeon, the crypt, the lab - were borrowed from elsewhere because they look great while some of the others look like painted hardboard. The main thing that struck me is that the plot is very similar to a Paul Naschy film (especially Dracula's Great Love). Hopefully it will make a good review
