Now that I look at the movie again, the zombies from IEYS look like the ones from ZOMBI; I guess someone thinks when you become one the living dead suddenly become get covered in a coat of weird filth.

In LAST MAN ON EARTH they really didn't call the creatures anything, but they did act like they were vampires including warding them off with mirrors and garlic and killing them with wooden stakes in the heart. They did mention a little something that wasn't expanded on; the vampire/zombies could regenerate and driving a stake into them was the only way to ensure a kill ( this was explained better in the novel ).

One last thing guys, there is a book that will be coming out on AMAZON soon that tells a lot of my encounters with the paranormal. I'll you guys when it comes out.
